Daniele Russo: The Improvisation
                                    Concert

The improvisation concert that Daniele Russo offers today, comes from a natural marriage between his dual  professions: composer and interpreter.

His own personal research was aimed at reaching an instantaneous command of the composition process, together with the capability of transferring immediately his musical ideas on the guitar fingerboard.

A traditional concert is a one way communication: the performer plays and people listen to him.

An improvisation concert is a two ways communication: the performer plays to the audience and the audience speak to him, giving him suggestions and ideas (obviously not while he is playing)

It is a concert in the literally sense of the word!

Such a recital allows the performer to capture the emotional state of the audience, and to mold his music on it, not to please  listeners, but to communicate with them.

The result is a great emotional involvement by public, that reminds us of  those adventurous 19th century  "Accademie musicali",  when music was not yet governed by a rigid specialization of rules.
