The exploratory way on the Pessoa-person ( .... a pun this,as in portuguese pessoa means person...) develops through the study of various graphical samples of several periods of the life. In this book are especially delineated the inner motivations, the intellettive modalities, the attitudes and the behaviors that have urged Pessoa to being an untiring creator of literature.

In this book are also examined , compared, and illustred the writings and the signatures attibuited from Pessoa to his , so-called, heteronymous, that they more represent the " showy manifestation" of its artistic ability.

The final part of the book, dedicated to the analysis of some written letters to Ophelia Quiroz, evidences the attempt of the poet to get in touch with the alive truth of the human relationships, that really were not vivified by the same creative wealth and the same sentimental involvement that he dedicated to the his "Work".
