Paola CALABRESI, nata a Monterchi (AR) il 14 giugno 1958, dimostra fin da piccola una grande predisposizione per le discipline artistiche. Consegue il diploma di maturità d'Arte nel 1977. Vive e lavora ad Arezzo dal 1987 e dal 1996 comincia la sua avventura nella pittura.. La tecnica utilizzata è rigorosamente a olio su tela o tavola sulle orme dei grandi maestri del rinascimento.

La sua produzione artistica propone Paesaggi, Fiori e Riproduzioni ma soprattutto Nature Morte, nelle quali Paola è maestra, spaziando anche in nuove aree tematiche. Così le opere che Paola Calabresi ci propone riescono ad essere sempre nuove: si va dalla tradizionale natura morta di frutta, di memoria Caravaggesca, agli originali vasi Attici ed Etruschi di recente produzione.

Dal 2004 entra a far parte di Gruppi Storici di Rievocazione e comincia realizzare costumi sia maschili che femminili del periodo Rinascimentale. Dal 2006 entra anche in un gruppo di rievocazione dell'Antica Roma per il quale realizza non solo costumi, ma anche Vessilli.

Paola Calabresi was born in Monterchi (AR) on 14th june 1958 and since she was a child she has always shown a special inclination to artistic disciplines. In 1977 she got her diploma in Arts. She has been living and working in Arezzo since 1987 and in 1996 she started her adventure in the painting art. The technique she uses is rigorously that of oil on canvas or board as the great masters of the Renaissance.

Her artistic production includes Landscapes, Flowers and Reproductions but most of all Still Lives in which Paola is a true master, ranging also over new thematic fields. As a consequence Paola Calabresi's works are always new: they range from the traditional still life of fruit, according to Caravaggio's tradition, to the original ancient Attic and Etruscan vases of her recent production.

In 2004 become member of historical groups of renactors, making costumes (for male and female) of the Renaissance period. From 2006 is a member of a group of Ancient Romans and make not only costumes, but also Vexillum.
