Le due banconote differiscono per un particolare: nel primo tipo (che è stato emesso sia in folder che per la circolazione generale) il personaggio ritratto è chiamato "Pedro A. Cabral". Nel secondo tipo, solo circolante, invece è scritto per esteso "Pedro Alvaro Cabral" e in alto compare la scritta "Deus Seja Louvado" in arancione marcato.
The differences between these two note regard the engraving of the name of the depicted person: in the first type, issued both in folder and for general circulation, the name is abbreviated as "Pedro A. Cabral", while in the second printing (issued for general circulation only) it is extended to "Pedro Alvares Cabral". In the second type we can also see the writing "Deus Seja Louvaso" in deep orange on upper left.
