Biography

Rossana Ruffini was raised and educated in an artistic milieu. She is convinced  that, as an artist, she is supposed to be free of express herself beyond words and predefined moulds and that her works have to be set according her own way of feeling.

Her way of feeling drove her from an informal painting language to the search for a communicative style with a stronger chromatic impression.

After her cautious return to exhibitions (which she holds moreover in arts centres), she matches her paintings with verses of poets she has expressive affinities with, according to the conviction that the first way of communication is visual and emotional impression.
