I took this in the winter and it is part of a series dedicated to 'galaverna', a fenemeno caused by the formation of ice on plants, trees etc.

To my mind winter is the perfect season for photography,and I love to photograph its many characteristics, from the sheets of ice formed across streams

to the sinuous effect of the snow.....
