Chapter: | Attack from Mount |
Move: | He resists the straight arm lock |
HIGH SQUEEZE LOCK--- If the arm through his elbow points up towards his head.... |
...post your other arm behind you. Pull his elbow tight into your side. |
Throw your leg, on the side of your trapping arm, over and across his arm. |
Make a Figure Four with your legs, trapping his elbow between your legs. |
Pull and squeeze. The squeeze attacks his elbow joint by pulling it apart, and causes painful pressure on the nerves by his elbow. |
LOW SQUEEZE LOCK--- In this situation, your arm trapping his arm points down. Again, post your free arm and pull the locked arm as tightly as possible into his elbow joint. |
Throw your top leg over his arm, and make a Figure Four. In these pictures the opponent has released his grip for demonstration purposes. |
Squeeze your knees tightly together and apply the finish. |
If you do not squeeze your knees tightly together, he will grab your knee, pull it, and ... |
...clear his hand from the hold. In either case,if he does let go, simply... |
... take the straight arm lock. |
