THE CRUCIFIX

1. As he shoots in, you will want to drop your weight a little
and push your hips in to slow him down.

2. You now want to reach under his armpit on the
same side that his head is on.
Try to reach in at least to the crook of your elbow.

3. Now grab your hands together with your forearm across his back as shown.

4. As you drop down to the opposite side knee, start to turn him with your grip under his armpit and the forearm that you have over his back.

5. Once his momentum is going in the direction that you want, you then want to grab his other arm by the tricep or higher.
Make sure you don't let go of the hook that you have under his armpit.
One key point to this move is that, as you turn him, make sure that the back of his neck is trapped somewhat under your armpit. One way to make sure of this is to keep pressure on him with your chest.

6. Try to spin him right to his back .
Notice that I have kept a secure grip on his near arm as shown.(pulling it across my body.)

7. At this point , you should still have a tight grip on his near arm, his neck should still be trapped tightly by your armpit and you should still have that initial hook under his armpit.

8. Start to switch your base and push your near hip up toward his head. (keeping your hips low of course.)

9. To finish, start to lean back a little puting pressure on his spine and neck.

Sit out to a full "Scarf Hold" or Kesa Gatame like position.
