Founded in 1991, the
consultants working in SAMEP are able to offer expertise in all areas of
systems of transportation, from planning to design and work management, from
market research and surveys of traffic on the technical and economic advice to
businesses from the sale of mobile information systems to the implementation of
simulation models of traffic custom.

COMPANY PROFILE
SAMEP S.R.L. (Transports
Division) helps and assists the Bodies and Companies that intend to
successfully approach important change processes, offering solutions and
planning, designing and organisational consultancy interventions aimed at the
transports , mobility and territory sectors.
The Transports Division
of SAMEP S.R.L. specialized in transports planning and in the research
of innovative solutions to the continuously greater traffic problems, the road
network and the consequent environmental pollution that afflict our cities.
SAMEP has, for many years,
participated and collaborated in important studies, research and projects
developed both in Italy and abroad.
Thanks to the meaningful
experiences matured in these years, the professionals that operate in the
company have been able to learn and increase both technical and prestigious
professional skills.
These skills are clear
especially through the understanding of the problem, the use of widely tested
work methodologies and the command in the use of the most important informatics
system that exist at the moment in the international field.
This has allowed the
company to acquire a vast and meaningful know-how both in the framework of the strategic
transports planning (on a regional, provincial, etc. territorial level -
Transports Plan) and in the more specifically operative sector, that is,
regarding urban and suburban road network studies, management systems
and traffic control, location and impact transports analysis of new
residential areas, the parking and stopping regulations, the restructuring
and reorganisation of the public transports service and the reduction of
the environmental load.
The company is, above-all, actively and constantly
engaged in research and development activities of new informatics calculation,
control and traffic management models.An innovative programme for the
management of the urban public transports exercise is, at the moment, in an
advanced development phase. It is called "SINOPER" and is the
"back spine" of a wider project of "integrated systems".
From the 14 December 1994, SAMEP company was
officially included in the lists - DG VII - of the EUROPEAN COMMISSION -
DIRECTORATE GENERAL FOR TRANSPORT in Brussels, amongst the European
companies specialising in the transports and mobility sector.
Lastly, to reinforce our
experience in the international field, in 1994, SAMEP began
collaborating in the development of projects regarding the planning of
transports in developing countries, on behalf of "THE WORLD BANK"
of Washington.
From the 1998, SAMEP company is the official
distributor on Italian market of the QRSII&GNE software for
A.J.H. Associates (Milwaukee - Wisconsis - U.S.A.).

HISTORY
1989
In fact you start the work of Eng. Piero World and Eng. Ernesto World that feed
into the constitution of 1991 in Studio SAMEP.
The professional activity is performed wholly abroad, particularly in
Switzerland, in drafting the "Plan of Transportation's Region Luganese
(PTL).
The activity of SAMEP, founded on the basis of many years of experience between
1989 and 1994 in developing the Plan of Transportation's Region Luganese (PTL)
in Switzerland, and then rapidly grown up professionally to take an important
role development of plans and complex projects, both in Italy and abroad.
1991
In February 1991, it constituted SAMEP-Studio World Association of Engineers,
legally configured as "trade association" between the engineers and Ernesto
Piero World World
Years 1991-1994
Until 1994 the activities SAMEP is almost entirely dedicated to the development
of Plan of Transportation's Region Luganese (PTL) in Switzerland, the first
draft of an integrated transport system in Europe that will provide funding for
the implementation of works for a scenario of 10 years with very heavy
investments and involve all modes of transport than road and rail to the
airport and lake resorts to that of public transport and the narrow gauge
railway Lugano-Ponte Tresa.
1994
SAMEP is registered in the lists - DG VII - the European Commission -
Directorate General for Transport of Brussels to "Consultants code:
1474," among European companies specializing in transport and mobility.
Since 1994 SAMEP joined in the tender issued by the EC in a consortium with
other companies and European companies (RTD projects, PHARE, TACIS ..).
1995
To consolidate the international experience, SAMEP began to collaborate in the
development of projects relating to transport planning in developing countries
funded by The World Bank in Washington, working both in Europe and Asia.
1999
SAMEP entered into a "Collaboration Agreement" with the American
Society "AJH Associates of Wisconsin, concerning the marketing and
technical support throughout the Italian "Software Planning, Design and
Management of individual and collective transport" called "QRSII
& GNE" (Quick Response System and Network General Editor)
characterized by great versatility and, above all, from a price / performance
ratio that, at present, can hardly find the same in Italy.
2000
Engineers Soc world founded the World Association & C. s.a.s. (then ceased
in May 2007), composed mainly for the purpose of managing two important
contracts for the building of the line high-speed train (TGV) Turin-Milan and
the refurbishment of the A4 Turin-Milan.
In May 2007, with the closure of the World Association & C., were
transferred to both the human resources that the instrumental equipment
directly to SAMEP therefore can count on further diversification of business
lines.
Year 2009
Engineers World with Ajmeri Diego Notary Act of 20/03/2009 undertake processing
of SAMEP-Studio in the World Association of Engineers Society of Engineering
named SAMEP-WORLD ENGINEERING LTD. The transformation of the Study in Associate
Company Limited with share capital of € 50.000,00 iv has allowed the one hand
the continuation of twenty years of Studio SAMEP and other adjustment of the
Study of the increased volume of orders and its projection on orders more
prominent, more suited to the activity of an engineering . This will keep the
core business of the company focuses on the work of Transport Planning,
Environment and Projects, in addition to service additional.
Also in 2009, the World Engineers gave birth to a new corporate reality. In
March 2009 with Chianale Notary Act constituted the "Firm IMS", study
associations between engineers and Ernesto Piero World which has been delegated
the task of carrying out specific activities in the field of architectural and
urban design in civil, and thus broaden the scope for action. At Studio I.M.S.
were also transferred all the expertise gained during 20 years of work by
engineers in the field of World Technical Legal Consulting in both
administrative and civil and criminal matters.
For nearly 20 years, SAMEP (now SAMEP Ltd.) with its activity helps and assists
agencies, governments and companies that want to tackle successfully the
important processes of change, offering solutions and assistance for planning,
design, organizational consulting and delivery systems mobility management
information for the sector of transport, mobility and territory.
Professional competence of the consultants working in SAMEP Ltd. is attested by
the vast experience on the field and on the ongoing professional training.

Ing
Piero MONDO
The
Ing. MONDO Piero was born in Turin on 06.04.1963 and graduated in civil
engineering in 1987 from the Polytechnic of Turin, she is qualified to practice
in November 1987.
In 1988 he began his employment at Arthur Andersen Management Consultants (now
Accenture), Society of American Management Consulting where he attended several
management courses in the U.S. (Chicago), Holland (Eindovhen), Germany
(Waldorf).
From 1988 to 1990, as a consultant Arthur Andersen has worked on the area of
organization and business management by working at companies like Fiat, Lancia,
TEKSID, Cromodora, Gilardino, etc. ..
In 1990 he became a free operating professional in Switzerland as part of the
development of the transportation plan of the Region Luganese, activities that
will keep him busy until 1994.
In 1991, with his brother is the "Studio SAMEP", in which he operated
for almost 20 years and work still serving as a partner and legal
representative.
In 2000 he founded the company "Mondo Associati & C. sas "in
which he serves as general partner and manager.
In March 2009, to strengthen its presence in the field of planning and design
of mobility and the environment becomes the "Studio Associato Ingegneri
Mondo" in the Society of Engineering "SAMEP-MONDO ENIGEERING SRL" with a capital of € 50,000.00, in
'scope of which he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Also in 2009 founded with his brother the "IMS Studio" whose activity is mainly directed to the field of
architectural design and urban planning, and thus to extend its field of
operation even in architecture.
From 1996 to 2003 covers the role of "assistant professor" at the
Politecnico di Torino for the course of university degrees in Plant and Yards
Viaro "
From 1991 to 2000, plays the role of "teacher contract" of the
Faculty of Engineering at the Scuola di Applicazione of Turin, as part of the
exercises of the course of the Machinery and Organization of the Yards. "
Currently "teaching" of the Higher School of Transport in the area of
transport planning.
Since 2000 he plays the role of "member" of the Commission Prices at
the Chamber of Commerce of Turin.
Since 1996 he has registered as technical consultants in the industry and the
Judge of Civil and Transport.
E 'was the author of about 16 publications in journals in the field of
Transport.

Ing Ernesto MONDO
The
Ing. Ernesto MONDO was born in Turin on 29.07.1965 and graduated in civil
engineering in 1989 at the Polytechnic of Turin, she is qualified to practice
in November 1991.
In 1989 he began his employment with SIPTAL SA Lugano - Switzerland, where he
resides until 1991 working in the development of the transportation plan of the
Region Luganese, activities that will keep him busy until 1994.
In 1991, with his brother is the Studio SAMEP, in which he operated for almost
20 years and works still serving as a partner.
In 2000 he founded the Mondo Associati & C. s.a.s. which he serves as
general partner.

SRAP is a program to aid highway safety planning
decision by prioritizing projects based on their costs and benefits. Its can
