Stimmung was recorded partly in studio, at the Audience Studios (Agliana, Prato, Italy),and partly live, and then mixed at the Audience Studios, both on 24 tracks. The live songs Moon In Cancer, Dark Satanic Mill and In My Time of Dying were performed during a concert at Folkoperanin Stockholm (Sweden), while Yellow Cave Woman and I Won't StartAnother Song were recorded during a live radio broadcast at Controradio in Florence (Italy). There are absolutely no overdubs on the livetracks.
