Many of us fans have long awaited the return of our favorite G1 characters like Optimus Prime, Megatron, Prowl, Sideswipe, and of course - Mirage and Ironhide. Hurray! The Robots in Disguise line gives us some of the characters we want! However, it seems that we're getting our characters in name, but not in spirit... RID Mirage is mostly white and red and lacks any of the details that made him the character that he was in the original.. Shouldn't they have at least tried to make them look like they did in G1? I wanted to do something about it, so I designed a special sticker kit that covers most of RID Mirage with awesome metallic BLUE, and provides him with visual features and details true to the original G1 Mirage! The cheapy plastic look will be replaced by beautiful metallic blue, and the once plain surfaces will be replaced by incredible details like air vents, engine parts, and Mirage's signature "CITANES 26", and "elf" logos. Body details that were once difficult to distinguish such as exhaust pipes and axle struts become bold and distinctive! This sticker set has the ability to turn an inexpensive plasticy little toy into a radiant work of art that you may be very proud of owning! It won't feel cheapy anymore! I also made an evil variation of the kit that will transform Mirage into a sleek black and purple Decepticon... According to his original tech specs, he is unsure of Autobot cause and can't fully be trusted. It's very likely that Mirage betrayed the Autobots in the first episode of the cartoon when he "snuck" on the Decepticon ship bound for Cybertron. Mirage's loyalties would have gone to the Decepticons if Optimus didn't show up to turn the tide... Does Mirage finally get sick and tired of being an Autobot and become evil? You decide!
