The Car Robots toy line in japan has given rise to the north american Robots in Disguise toy line which will be released in late 2001. At long last, we the fans will be treated to the classic concept of realistic vehicles that transform into robots! Many of our favorite G1 classics will be returning in name... But as a fan, that's not enough for me! I want them to return in spirit as well!
The Robots in Disguise Prowl, to be released in late 2001
It's for this reason that I've designed this very unique Reconfiguration Prowl sticker enhancement kit - It will turn that would-be imposter Mach Alert into a fully decorated Prowl, resembling how he appeared in G1! This is Prowl as he would be if he were reconfigured into the body of a modern Lamborghini style sportscar. His doors/shoulder wings will proudly display the "Highway Patrol POLICE" emblems of old, the same front and rear bumper "POLICE" signs, Autobot symbols, and much more. The kit even includes a "classic style" head sticker that can be placed on the back of the existing head if you so desire - turn the head around to reveal his G1 spirit! When the kit is applied, you'll have a toy truly worthy of the "Prowl" name!
The set is made up of 2 sheets, one metallic, the other white. Besides the obvious decorations specially designed for the new Prowl confguration, you get extra Autobot symbols and police shield emblems. This set is compatible with Robots in Disguise "Prowl" and also the Car Robots toy "Mach Alert" which was released in 2000 in Japan. Logic is indeed the ultimate weapon, but even Prowl would admit that these stickers are a force to be reckoned with!
