My Cloudy Piano

Our deepest track, surely: as an old radio jingle, used Andrea Torre (when in Radio Centro Suono), would say, we may say "Nuvolosità variabile!" (l.t.: Variable Cloudy).

Faddy Groove

This track, a little more funky/jazzy, deep track, rich of percussions (we enjoyed any kind of samples found in the studio!) and an old bass loop sampled at home, is the first one we really realized together at studio from the first to the last beat, inspiring us to the sounds of the various samplers and synth in the studio, so new and inviting for us, then we chose it to represent better the project, naming it as our nick.

Children's Garden

The first track ever worked by us @ AWS studios, very deep, was born at home on an old computer with a soundblaster in a single stereo track, a "copy and paste" work obtained from samples of elements played and processed by us, and then separated and completely re-mixed at studio, starting from the original samples taken from the dark locations of the old hard-disk (sometimes re-recording samples as they probably could be obtained in the original mix)... our first professional digital arena! It was also the first track played on the radio (in the old version) then we could know Orazio Fatman, Claudio Palmeri and Sabina Romeo, and so our production was born: these are so beautiful memories!

African Vibes

Among the various kind of music we like surely there is tribal house, too...

Houseness - E.P. (2003)** - As for the first album there is a certain dose of deep house, but here there are more elektro and underground elements, too

Glimmers (Sun mix)

An old dance style ('90s) version of the Moon mix (the original one) a little bit "vintage".

Glimmers (Moon mix)

This is the deep track of the album. It brings on our deep tradition: a simple bass loop with a warm sound goes on among electronic soundscapes with percussive elements, remembering us a little bit the Faddy Groove style.

Blue Tribe

A new tribal track with many games upon percussion samples and energetic effects

The Jelly-like Track

A nu style track, strongly elektro-funky with curious synthetic sounds and vocoder samplings.

Down-X

A very dark and underground electronic track, with mad samples and a lot of phaser.

*all tracks were compressed in mp3 using lame 3.96, in stereo at 44.1 KHz, 96kbit/s. Differently from the first E.P., Houseness E.P. was ripped directly from a vinyl copy in good state (not optimal), because a copy from the digital master is temporarily not available (coming soon!), we apologize for clips, crackles and so on...

SPECIAL THANKS

A fundamental support came initially from Andrea Torre and his radio transmissions in Rome (at that time it was CDN - Club Dance Radio - on Radio Centro Suono, then the CDN staff moved to C.D.R. - Club Dance Radio). When we gave him our demos, he was soon enthusiast for them and he soon transmitted the rude demo of Children's Garden as it was, soon! First of all for us it was a great moment because we were esteemed and encouraged by a man who represented, for us, the best voice friend of the genre in which we believed. From the other side we could believe to produce seriously an EP, if any producer would listen to the tracks and appreciate them like the radio fans did. Andrea Torre spoke with Orazio Fatman, who worked for the "underground countdown" (according to us a very cool serious house parade) in the CDN staff. He was also a member of the Funky Fluid, who is substantially the group of peoples who works at AWS (Sabina Romeo producer/manager/editor/singer/composer, Claudio Palmeri - pc/machines/synths programming/sound designer/and mixer, Orazio Fatman - composer/mixer/remixer, and their bassman guest - Alessandro Romanazzo).

Thanks to Andrea Torre and Orazio Fatman for transmitting with enthusiasm our pieces, for supporting us and believing in us, Thanks to Sabina Romeo for introducing us in the world of the productions, for being a very nice friend and an intelligent person who enriched us with precious suggestions and observations, and for teaching us to be more objective and severe with us in the right measure. Thanks to Claudio Palmeri for letting us touch everything in the studio, also the Yamaha 02R mixer, assisting us during all the steps of our productions and for teaching us all about sequencing/midi and operations on all the hardware in the studio, all things we couldn't imagine, yet. Without him we would continue to produce pieces in a single track adding the single samples one over another, mixing them in a definitive mix, without the possibility of changing it, and playing it by our old soundblaster... not a very good perspective for a serious house production ;-)

And thanks to all the people who bought our EPs supporting our small production...

PROJECTS FOR THE FUTURE...

Actually we are in stand-by but the latest ideas were about some latin tracks performed in italian by our producer (and singer, of course!) Sabina Romeo, and other house/electronic/funky/JAZZ tracks. At home we spend many time playing our instruments, our computers, recording and mixing any kind of samples and loving house music (and jazz and funk and disco and so on...). Who knows if something good will come out! Producing albums printed on vinyl is magic, but it has become a very difficult and rare matter...
