ITALIAN ODEON SWING MUSIC SERIES

ITALIAN ODEON SWING MUSIC SERIES On each side of this record there are two excerpts from different recordings of the same piece - one by a black band, the other white. Apparently this was planned to be the first of a series but only this title was issued.

Information thanks to Howard Rye's article on "Names&Numbers" and Lord's Discography. It must be noted that this series is called "Swing" and not "Rhythm"; there's also no indication of being actually produced in Italy, or anywhere else for that matter. Lack of proper credit is most probably a production slip. Thanks to Norman Field for confirming that this record is indeed a copy of English Parlophone R2250 most probably titled 'Black and White Rhythm Style Series, No1 & No2' and including full credits.
