Using easy-to-install busbar trunkets you can draw your distributed control application, the same busbar can share power supply (2 wires + earth) and TraxBus communication (2 wires), controlling up to 300 units per track.
Of course TraxBus can drive wire lines, COMMON WIRES !

	TraxBus can be converted to many standard interfaces like EIA-232, EIA-422, EIA-485 and Ethernet 10baseT including TCP/IP protocol. Standard PLCs and Controllers can control remote devices acting directly on the internal memory coils. Different TraxRouters Gateways can link controllers using OMRON protocol, MODBUS RTU protocol (TELEMECANIQUE, SIEMENS, SQUARE-D, EUROTHERM...) or UNITRONIC protocol. Through MODBUS RTU is possible to convert TraxBus to virtually any standard Fieldbus like PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, CANopen, InterBus, EIB Instabus ...

TraxBus compatible products are available from ZUCCHINI under the brand SIS.CO.BUS: you can mix and control remote devices of both types.
Many new distributed control devices are under development and will be introduced early 2002 !
