Paolo Sassetti (Milan, 1956 - ?) is a member of AIAF (the Italian Association of Financial Analysts) since 1989 and a former member of the Scientific Committee of AIAF’s quarterly magazine. He graduated in Economics at Rome University and got a Master in Business Administration at Bocconi Business School. After experiences in the Italian Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning (Rome, first Spadolini Administration), in large industrial groups such as Fiat (Turin), IBM, SGS (Milan), he became equity research manager and chief portfolio manager at Pasfin (now Bnp Paribas Italia), then joined Sopaf International, a leading private equity company, where he built up a successfull portfolio of private equity investments and hedge and futures funds. Today he is asset allocator and an alternative asset adviser to families and a corporate adviser to small innovative companies.
