INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL MEETING A SUCCESS
In September, foreign teachers from all around Europe came to our school for a conference on the importance of education and the idea of having a common project among European schools.
Present were representatives from Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Hungary, England and Finland. Each of the teachers gave a brief presentation on their school, country and traditions. For example, we were given the opportunity to sample some chocolates from Germany and they were so good!!! The presentations were very interesting as they allowed us to compare our school with the schools in other countries and we were able to see all the differences and similarities, as well as find points to improve our institution.
After the presentations, we had a dinner made up of many typical Italian dishes. This, the guests, as well as the students, seemed to thoroughly enjoy. During dinner, some of the students played some famous songs as entertainment; this also went over very well.
All in all, the evening was a great success. The guests had a very good time and the students were given the possibility to learn something about other schools in Europe. It was an excellent night.
