At the Japanese branch of Acme Labs where they had just gotten over the Gollizilla disaster...

"Pinky help me with this book"

"Ooh, Brain are you gonna read me a bedtime story tonight? Narf!" Pinky jumped up and down in joy.

"No Pinky. This is part of my latest plan to take over the world!"

"The Universe of the Four Gods..." Pinky read over the Brain's shoulder. "Not a very catchy title now is it? Adon!"

"Pray tell, Pinky, what is 'adon'?"

"It's 'no da' backwards. I picked that up somewhere, I don't know where. Troz!"

"Yes, well, listen to this Pinky, '...The story itself is a spell. One who finishes the book shall acquire the same power as the heroine and her wishes will come true....... ' Are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

"I think so Brain but where are we gonna find some baloney to put down our pants at this time of night?"

SMACK! The Brain hit Pinky over the head with the book.

"No Pinky! With this I can rule the world!"

"But Brain it says 'her'. Point!"

"Yes, well, I'll just have to go incognito now won't I?" The Brain donned a brunette wig and a brown schoolgirl uniform. "There. Now how do I look?"

"Ooh, just scum-dum-oodle-yummy! Ooh, ooh, Brain can I dress up too?"

"Oh, if you must. Now I need to go prepare for entering the book." The Brain started packing a suitcase.

Pinky donned a blonde wig and uniform, then sat down before the book and began to read. "This is the story of one girl who having gathered the Seven Seishi of "Suzaku" acquired the power to make any wishes come true. The story itself is a spell. One who finishes the book shall acquire the same power as the heroine and her wishes will come true. As soon as the page is turned the story will become the truth and begin."

The Brain's ears perked up upon hearing that and he twirled around. "No! Wait Pinky! Don't turn..."

Pinky turned the page and was suddenly engulfed in a blue light before vanishing into thin air.

The Brain went to the book and read the page it was now turned to. "As the girl's sidekick turned the page she was engulfed in a blue light and vanished into thin air. The girl began to read the book amazed that what had just happened was written in such an ancient book. When she turned the page..." The Brain turned the page and was suddenly engulfed in a red light before vanishing into thin air......

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Kourin-sama! What's the matter?!" The maid asked as she rushed into Kourin's room.

"It's a rat!!!!!!!!!" Kourin shrieked as she picked up a large table.

"I am NOT a rat!" The Brain said indignantly. "I am a lab mouse involved in an intricate plot to take over the..."

Kourin smashed the table down on the Brain.

"...wo~~rld..." Stars encircled the Brain's head.

"A~~~~~~H, it talked!" The maid fainted.

"What is going on here?" The Emperor walked into the room and Kourin's eyes suddenly turned into 2 huge hearts.

"Oh, Your Majesty! I was fixing my hair when suddenly there was this red light and then a rat appeared in my lap out of nowhere. I was sooooo frighten." Kourin snuggled up to the Emperor, trembling so as to make it look good.

"A red light?" The Emperor disentangled himself from Kourin and removed the table off of the Brain. "Those clothes! They are not of this world!"

"Ugh! They certainly aren't!" Kourin made a disgusted face.

"My name is uh...Brainda. I come from another world." The Brain said as he dusted himself off.

"Suzaku no Miko!' The Emperor exclaimed.

"Suzaku no what?" Kourin asked not at all happy that this little mouse was getting so much attention from the Emperor.

"It is said...when the country is on the brink of destruction, a girl appears from another world and acquires the divine power of 'Suzaku'. Having acquired the power of 'Suzaku', she will lead our country." The Brain's eyes lit up at this. "And now that girl known as 'Suzaku no Miko' has appeared. And is standing before me"

"How does this 'girl' get this power?" Kourin asked.

"She must find the 7 Suzaku Seishi:Chichiri, Tamahome, Nuriko, Hotohori, Chiriko, Tasuki, Mitsukake." The Emperor showed Kourin and the Brain the character on his neck. "I am Hotohori."

"What a coincidence. I'm Nuriko." Kourin exposed the character just below her left collarbone and moved closer to Hotohori MERELY to make sure he got a good look at it.

Hotohori walked out of Kourin's room with Nuriko and the Brain in tow and called out "Listen up everyone! This is the girl who will acquire the power of 'Suzaku'. She will protect our country. 'Suzaku no Miko' has appeared!"

"Thank you Suzaku no Miko" Everyone bowed down to the Brain.

The Brain grinned and said "YES!"

Suddenly there was a commotion to one side as several Palace guards struggled with a young man.

"Guards! What is the meaning of this?!" Hotohori demanded

"Your Majesty, we found this peasant selling these unauthorized dolls of you." The guard held up a Hotohori UFO catcher.

"Despicable!" Hotohori cried in outrage "I am far more beautiful than that! Off with his head!"

"Yes Sire!"

Just then a large pillar began to fall. A character appeared on the young man's forehead as he struggled free of the guards' hold on him and pushed the Brain away before the pillar could crush his proportionally large skull.

Nuriko stood near where the pillar USED to be, asking sweetly "Oh my, how did that happened?"

"A Suzaku Seishi!" Hotohori gasped.

The young man stood up and said "I'm Tamahome"

"Well done protecting the Miko, Tamahome. I will forgive you for the dolls THIS TIME."

"Yes!" The Brain thought to himself "Only 4 more Seishi to go. At this rate I'll be ruling the world by tomorrow!"

3 months passed and no more Seishi had been found so the Brain, Nuriko, and Tamahome left the capital and set out to find the remaining 4 Seishi. Hotohori stayed behind to oversee production of the Official Hotohori UFO catcher ^TM.

As the 3 stopped for some water, a black clad man jumped out of a tree and brought a sword down on the Brain.

"Brainda! Look out!" Tamahome kicked the man away and soon the 2 were caught up in an intense battle.

Nuriko stood by and filed her nails. The man pinned Tamahome to the ground just as a second black clad man came out of the bushes and headed for the Brain. Nuriko remained engrossed in her nails.

The Brain was sure it was the end (and with so many plans to take over the world still left untried) but suddenly a funny looking monk popped out of a portal from out of thin air and blasted the man back. The man dug out several darts and threw them at the monk but the monk put up a barrier just in time to deflect all but one which only grazed his right knee. The 2 men ran away.

"Amazing!" The Brain exclaimed "An interspacial dimensional portal! Tell me Fox Boy, how did you overcome the quantum flux particle emissions?"

"Da?"

"Hey! Are you human?" Tamahome asked the monk.

"This coming from someone hanging around a mouse no da?"

Nuriko gasped as she noticed the character on the monk's knee. "You're a Suzaku Seishi!"

"I'm Chichiri na no da! I am not a fox no da!"

"Fox Boy... those 'no da's' of yours...You haven't by chance ever met a mouse named Pinky, have you?"

"Da?" Chichiri then turned to Tamahome and Nuriko. "Tamahome-kun, Nuriko-chan, you 2 should have felt the presence of those assassins no da."

Tamahome grumbled

"Assassins?! Why would someone want to kill me, the great Suzaku no Miko?"

"They're from Kutou Country no da. While I was traveling I heard that Kutou knows Konan has found Suzaku no Miko and they want to eliminate her before she can make her wishes no da. They've also found a girl from another world and she's become Seiryuu no Miko no da."

"A girl from another world?" The Brain thought to himself. "Pinky! I have to find him before he ruins my plans (again) to take over the world!"

"You! Fox Boy! Take me to Kutou Country at once! We have to find Seiryuu no Miko!"
