...Thank You
Let's say...it's the day of departure. It feels like...everyone has left the nest rather than the series being over. I believe that everyone of the Seishi have grown into good men (each in their own way). Having come this far is do to all the readers. Always sending lots of letters...filled with tears, laughter, and anger. When Part 1 came to an end, people let me know they passed their exams saying "I was scared and nervous, but then I remembered Miaka's words and thought since Miaka and Tamahome kept going, I would put my all into it." "I was jealous and envious of Miaka but decided I would keep at it and become a wonderful girl." "I thought I'd die at Nuriko's 'If you stay alive...' but then I thought I could go on." etc....and then after the final episode "Thank you" (I'm the one to be saying thanks...) "Through my tears I re-read it over and over again." that started to make me cry (double teardrop) "Somewhere along the line, Miaka has really grown into a beautiful woman...and I feel like I've been left behind." How come everyone who wrote that were girls? There were an awful lot of letters from housewives most of which said "I've been hooked on shojo manga for decades"...Interesting (sweatdrop) The best was from a 45 year old...I think? There were also some from males saying "I cried" etc. It made me happy. "FY" is truly a series full of mysterious things. When Keisuke and Tetsuya left for the "Genbu cave" in the anime, the director pointed to a map saying "Here, I guess" It seemed right, and when I actually went there it was scary that there really was a shrine and a tomb at the thought of location. Speaking of which, I didn't realize until the very end, but Takamatsu-zuka really was a tomb said to have an "apparition seal" (sweatdrop). The day Nuriko died in the anime, a housewife lost her mother and when she allowed her boy to do Chichiri cosplay he seriously injured his right eye...(triple sweatdrop) I hope he was alright afterwards...Everyone was a cast member of "The Universe of the Four Gods", weren't they? "I cried while reading the last scene. Thinking...they're still alive, aren't they? It has become more than just a manga, hasn't it? Miaka and the Seishi will definitely meet again. And when they do it will be in a much kinder fate."......To those who cried at Nuriko's and the others' death, to those who got angry at the enemies, to those who found even a little courage from this series, always take great care of those feelings and I hope the best for you. Until next time.
