Batch Editor is a small multithreaded
PM application which allows to find and replace a list of strings in one
or more files.
Multiple language versions are available:
HtmlBook
is a small application I wrote for grouping documents
made up by multiple html files, image files, etc. into a unique file.
You can download the program archive, HtmlBook011.zip (83 KB)
from
hobbes.
Notes:
The previous version could not correctly handle blank spaces in file names.
To use MOZILLA as a html viewer you have to enter
"%s" (you do have to type the double quote characters)
in the parameters field of the HtmlBook options dialog, otherwise mozilla
cannot handle file names containing blank spaces.
Currently, when using MOZILLA as a viewer, it is not possible to
open at the same time 2 or more HtmlBooks.
This is due to the way MOZILLA works when a new program instance is started.
The problem will be corrected with the next version of HtmlBook.

The program takes care both of creating the packed html files and of
showing them via your favorite html browser.

Virtual machines, i.e those applications which can emulate multiple PCs
allowing you to run multiple operating systems on you machine are becoming
more and more popular.
I ran
a complete set of tests
to compare the performances of
a real machine versus Virtual PC and Virtual Station.
In order to compare the performances of a real machine with virtual machines
I wrote
a micro suite of benchmarks for OS/2 as ordinary benchmark
programs do not always work correctly when executed within a virtual machine.
If you want to run the benchmark yourself or improve them (the source code
is included) you can get
My Micro Benchmark Suite (271 KB)
here.
