1. Heat olive oil in an 8 qt. pot and sauté garlic, onion, and bell
pepper until translucent.
2. Add white wine and reduce for a few minutes then add tomatoes, basil
and oregano. Bring mixture to a slow boil and reduce heat and simmer for
15 minutes.
3. Add he crab and shrimp to the mixture, cover and bring to a slow boil
until the shrimp are opaque but partially cooked.
4. Add the fish if you are using fish and the clams and mussels and
simmer for another 10 minutes or so and turn off the heat.
5. Let sit covered for 5 to 10 minutes until all the clams and mussels
are opened.
6. Serve in warmed platter or large bowl with lots of warm crusty bread.
Bibs are optional, but recommended.
