Profile:
Born in 1974, Italy. Master degree in Arts, at Central St. Martin's,
London. Elena has worked in the graphic design industry for
over ten years (mainly for global Insurance companies). In 2000
she participates in the Exhibition 'Work in Progress' at College
Central St. Martin's, and had one of her artworks 'Elena's Eye'
published in the Prospectus 2001, 'Think'. From 2001 to 2003,
she has headed a team of 12 professionals-volunteers developing
'Beyond': a no-profit project in aid of abused children. In
2003 'Agora' Gallery', New York, described her work as having,
'a heightened sense of style and perspective.' Most of her paintings
are in private collections around the world.
Comment
on Art:
'I find it impossible to imagine a world without Art. The greatest
of all my aspirations is the creation of beautiful artwork, as
a result of self-analysis and catharsis . Simple things and the
wonderful spectacle of nature enchant me, however, the people
I meet mostly inspire me, their feelings and the strength of emotions.
I am fascinated by knowledge, and by intellect.'
