1993

In January, after reading the book "Composite construction" by J.Lamb, I fell in love with the tiny KR-2 and said to myself "I have to build this thing"

When plans arrived I had a surprise: I was looking for the KR-2, and got the KR-2S. I needed many day to begin to understand something, then started the usual long story of finding tools and materials, learning tecniques, bureaucracy papers, trying to show to the Inspector that I was able to build an aircraft, …

Actual building started on September.

I used Aerolite glue; when I could get a good epoxy resin (for wood work) I just had to glue the spar webs.

Some large springs supplied many small clamps.

The first side is ready, the second is coming.

How will I skin this skeleton?

While the right side is being covered, spar caps are waiting in the background.

Right side is OK; the other one hopefully will become the left.
