Apollo was the Greek god of light. That's why, when the breeder gave me the opportunity to choose the name for my white boy who was bought to give company to Mikki, I decided to call him Apollo. Apollo then was soon shortened to Rollo and at last to Rölli (who is a Finnish fairy tale figure, a troll). Rölli was certainly the most calm male I've ever known. In the catshows he was often so bored that he curled up on the table and began to sleep in the front of the judge! Rölli was always in a good mood and was ready to be cuddled whenever anyone was willing to do that. However, he wasn't a lap cat but prefered to be stroked in some other ways. In old age Rölli suffered from hyperthyroidism which was successfully treated with medicines for several years. At the age of nearly 15 years, he had to be put to sleep after a heart attack and a following paralysis. Apollo is the father of MoonCat's B-litter which is the only one of his litters where there weren't any white kittens.
