Cheung and Tong hand in hand - The first time in public

"Holding your hand, growing old with you" a couple's most admirable virtue. Although after 16 years and recently letting their relationship go public, they have never been seen with any intimacy in public.

Sept 27 evening, after the IT fashion show, Gorgor went to "Alabar" in Happy valley. Many male guests brought partners, Gorgor brought Tong too. They were seen, for the first time, holding hands on the street. It seems that Gorgor intended to break the last defense line and display their love openly. They love bravely and love honestly.

The most we talk about Gorgor and Tong, besides it has been a lasting love for a long time, the most important is, they love bravely.

This Sept, our reporters discovered they bought the incense towers at the temple for the blessing of their love, this demonstrated their determination to stay together.

Actually, Gorgor gradually released his relationship in recent years, in addition to reveal his sexual preference in "Left Right Hand" he has openly expressed his love to Tong at last year's concert, "I feel a bit uneasy to say in Chinese, I will only say I love you (in English)".

Sept 28 early morning, Gorgor and his friends went to the club, contrary to his usual subtle way, he held Tong's hand in public and entered the club. When they were in, they were still holding hands, what's more, Gorgor sometimes even leaned against Tong, intimate as a couple.

Gorgor was advised by some expert in fortune-telling that he would be blessed to worship the "Tsai Kung" (a Chinese god) so Gorgor and Tong has bought the incense towers throughout the years at the "Tsai Kung" temple at Sheung Wan.

They shared wealth

In fact, between Gorgor and Tong, there's no difference from a couple - their wealth is jointly owned. They jointly owned 4 companies in HK and rent their home under their co.'s name. All Gorgor's finance is managed by Tong.

According to friends of Gorgor, Tong gave up a lot. He resigned from his senior position in the bank and become full time "the man behind", he administered Gorgor's finance and investments, he actively keeps fit to match with Gorgor and become a perfect couple.

Gorgor also pleases Tong by all means. Last year, he invited a group of male friends to accompany himself and Tong to Thailand to celebrate his birthday. Besides, Gorgor mentioned in his interviews that he's a romantic person, he often think of and send surprise presents to his lover. Both of them love and respect each other so much, it is not surprising that through all those 16 years of thunders and storms, their love persists.

Gorgor's brother - "I treat Tong as family"

Talking about Gorgor holding hands with Tong in public, Gorgor's brother, Cheung Wing Fai doesn't consider it anything special. "Holding hands, it's nothing! Gorgor knows Tong since they were very small. Holding hand, hands on shoulders all very common to show their friendship, nothing special!"

Before her death, Gorgor's mum already treated Tong as her adopted son. Whenever there is special occasion, Gorgor will come together with Tong to meet the Cheung family. "Tong is family - Mr. Tong is a gentleman with very good manners, we talk together a lot".

Talking about Gorgor's incense towers, Gorgor's brother said, "Gorgor doesn't have any religion. But some expert advised him that it will be good fortune to worship "Tsai Kung".  Gorgor is very kind by nature and he believes in relationship between causes and consequences. He bought incense towers for blessings to resolve possible enemies from previous life and to avoid misfortune.

Asked whether he thinks Gorgor and Tong's destiny will compliment each other's, a fortune-teller by profession, Gorgor's brother touched this only lightly, "We are brothers, of course I will advise him, but Gorgor has been in the pop scene for a very long time, he's got his master too, I absolutely respect his decision. Gorgor and Tong's relationship has gone through many years, of course they suit each other. As for Gorgor, he trusts and appreciates Tong one hundred per cent."
