It
was 1928 when Alexander Fleming, the famous biologist,
discovered penicillin and J. W. Horton and W. A. Morrison
invented the quartz clock: that same year Giuseppe Piotti
founded a company specialising in precision mechanics.
|
The
company grew rapidly and became an established name in the
production and social areas in the province of Varese, as
well as a real industry showpiece, by exploiting to the full
the experience acquired working with aerospace industries
and prestigious car manufacturers (Ferrari, Maserati, De Tomaso,
Lamborghini) and focusing business activities on hard-to-make
parts, thereby fully expressing all his skill and craftsmanship
After sixty-five years, the company was acquired by
a major industrial group that recognised all the expansion
potential offered by Piotti’s successful background,
extensive experience and large number of loyal customers.
The company developed at a fast pace and therefore,
in 2000, it relocated to a modern, 2000 m² site
in Cardano al Campo (Va), an area with a long-standing
vocation for precision mechanical engineering. The
number of employees was increased to approx. 50.

Acquiring
a company with a strong production background and optimising
its customer service features was a real challenge that
Piotti Tecnica management knew how to meet; entering
and competing on the highly demanding and selective
European and world. |
