We were very busy with International patents but now we are back, and we have a new weapon to fight against interlaced lines!
Our new kitesurf boom works with every kind of kites. It incorporates a special joint to avoid interlacing between emergency leach around harness that happens with normal swivel harness lines (look the boom page for explanation).

The new prototype is almost
ready!!
The developement was so long
owing to the difficulties to find samples of particular elements (like
special ball bearings), so the present prototype uses other solutions than
ideal ones, but it has allowed us to make a lot of tests.
More, Aldo made a program
with Labview (screenshot below) that allowed us to do some calculations
about joint dimensions.
So we have a definitive project
of the device (not a definitive prototype owing to the difficulties we
spoked about, the one we have is rather different from project).

New prototype is coming!!
The device seems to be particularly
interesting in kitesurfing, so we began to develop a specific version.
This new prototype is sand and water proof and can endure 300 Kg per line.
It has got constant performances also in the most critical situations.

we are working to a watherproof proto with the help of Roberto (Optikites)
