I've seen the title "Fushigi Yuugi" translated several ways. Personally
I prefer "Wondrous Game". "Game" because that's how Watase herself translates
"Yuugi" (Unfortunately she hasn't translated "Fushigi" as well) and "Wondrous"
because I like the sound of "Wondrous Game".^v^

The title of the book is "Shijin Tenchi Sho". Shi=four, Jin=Gods, Ten=Heaven/sky,
Chi=Earth/ground, Sho=book. A literal translation of it would be something
like "The Book of the Four Gods' Heaven and Earth". However, the Japanese
have translated it into English as "The Universe of the Four Gods"
