Next Tamahome. He's really changed from the image I had of him before it began being published. (Sweatdrop) He never knew love until he first met Miaka. His...his first love?! I drew Tamahome when I was 18, before my debut, and when I was doing "Jewel in the Heart" I found those notes and drew him again... He is a character with quite a long personal history. (Ah, Hotohori too?) Though he has funny times I think he also has a shadowy side and is sad looking boy who wants to hold on a bit to something. (I was thinking he's totally different from Manato of "Shishunki" that I was drawing at the same time) Considering his image, he's strong yet fragile. He's protecting himself by protecting someone else. Right? In the CD book questionnaire he was in 1st place for "Favorite character". (It's still the beginning of the total but, Miaka was 4th place. In Shojo comics she was 1st place.) What I like about him is not that, it's this, I think Tamahome is a guy who wants to be hugged and patted on the head. Why I wonder? (Sweatdrop)

Hotohori! People love or hate him! The really low age bracket don't like him. (Double sweatdrop) Is this looking from the Tamahome side? (Sweatdrop) But, people who love him really write about nothing but him in their letters. You know, he's such a good guy. And that's not all, they're of course attracted by his body too. "Going for Miaka" in Vol.6, my god, they took it like that and got angry. It was too sad for Hotohori... (Double sweatdrop) Aah, what defending they did. Ah poor thing. (Sweatdrop)
