On Sunday, 15th September 2001 we had the possibility to visit the Radiotelescope in Medicina and we take part in a debate, with Mr. Stelio Montebugnoli, Director of the I.R.A (Istituto di Radioastronomia - Institute of Radioastronomy)
Il G.R.R.A.T. ha il piacere di collaborare a tale mostra con un unico stand in cui oltre ad un pannello esplicativo riguardante la radioastronomia, vi sarà un rivelatore in banda VLF che mostrerà su uno schermo i segnali ricevuti in tempo reale.
The G.R.R.A.T. organized the First National Meeting of Amatorial Radioastronomy, held in Trent on 2nd –3rd November, 2002. Some important representatives of the amatorial and professional Radioastronomy take part in it, such as Flavio Falcinelli, Stelio Montebugnoli and Claudio Maccone.
The G.R.R.A.T. are organizing the Second National Meeting of Amatorial Radioastronomy, held in Trent on 30th –31th October, 2004.
It is organized from the IARA Group and the UAI Radioastronomy section , 29-30 October 2005 it has been kept to the Station Radioastronomica di Medicina (BO) in 29-30 October 2005. It is be an encounter moment since the anniversary has been kept meeting of all the staff of the IARA Group.
The III° Italian Congress of Amateur Radio Astronomy will be to Caltanissetta 28-29 October 2006 and will be the apex of the local week of science.
