Elmec

Elmec s.a.s. is a company specialized in the construction of sheet metal and plastic containers for electronic components.

In order to decrease the production cost, the Studio invented, designed and built a machine for the automatic assembly of components, which are part of the company's product line.

The new machine permits the assembly of connectors for electronic devices, eliminating the need for manual assembly. It also allows increased productivity and superior security.

The machine has the following innovative and noteworthy characteristics:

• The design and manufacturing process was conceived entirely by the Studio based on Elmec's specifications;
• It bares the EC mark;
• The machine totally respects the mechanical and electronic security normatives;
• The machine is managed entirely by the PLC, both when functioning normally and when "out-of-cycle" (voluntary or involuntary interruptions of the normal machine cycle).
