The
computer and mathematical knowledge together with
the experience matured in the mechanical design
ambit, establish the basis for the development
of computer applications dedicated to the codification
of company knowledge and decisional support.
The software which we are able
to develop, according to the customer's specifications,
can be classified in the following groups:
Dimensioning and mechanical
verification: often developed on open
and transparent environments (calculation sheet
+ Visual Basic), for an easy personalization on
behalf of the customer. They are characterized
by the quick response to the dimensioning questions
set by the designer, the codification of the design
procedures and the possibility of a quick evolution
of the methodologies supporting the decisions.
This permits a group of designers within the same
technical office to design in a homogeneous and
reliable way, and permits the company easily codify
and transmit its know-how.
Reporting: render
quick, efficient and qualitatively reliable the
reporting process of calculation and dimensioning
procedures. They are often interfaced with CAE
simulation systems and/or vertical calculation
programs purposely developed, allowing for the
efficient communication of executed verification
results, and taking care of the automatic compilation
of the reports.
CAD personalizations: automatic
procedures developed on the customer's specific
request, integrated in the CAD utilized. The purpose
is to render automatic and economic the development
of models or 3D assemblies, codifying the production
modelling methodologies, and guaranteeing the
qualitative standard of the company design.
Component Library:
in many company realities it has been verified
economically convenient to develop 2D and 3D component
libraries, often in collaboration with component
producers, capable of facilitating and quickening
the construction of large virtual assemblies.This
activity can be conveniently asked to external
professionists able to guarantee the certification
of the developed model quality in accordance with
the supplier, the revision of the library, and
the correct implementation of the library within
the company's technical department.
