Autogrù Rigo

Since 1953, Autogrù Rigo S.p.A. has grown to become Italy's leading manufacturer of hydraulic telescopic mobile cranes (R/T's, A/T's type), as well as self-propelled aerial working platforms.

The company operates with the latest generation of computer systems for the design and calculation, interfaced with the central management system.

Every mobile crane manufactured by RIGO is designed and built to travel on road with all of its counterweight on the carrier. This design leads the crane owner and end user to a "lower cost factor".

Dott. Ing. Gianluca Massaccesi was asked to verify, with the use of FEM, the different combinations of load applied to a frame-turreta system. Particular attention has been given to the pivot interaction.
