Terex Italia S.r.l. is part of the Terex Corporation Group, global producer and diversified in a large range of machines for the construcion and mining sectors.

The core busines of Terex Italia is formed by design, production and sales of all-terrain cranes.

Dott. Ing. Gianluca Massaccesi was involved in the following activities: system level assistance, training, designing and structural verification of finite elements.

The system level assistance involved the integration of SDRC's CAD I-Deas into the company's technical structure. The installation and set up of the software was also completed with the implementation of software routines capable of facilitating the plotting procedures of the drawings.

The topics covered by the training were the use of CAD 2D and 3D.

In the area of simulation the Studio provided static and linear instability structural finite element analysis.
