Kinetic Analysis
These types of analysis simulate mechanical
movement. In particular it is possible
to conduct a kinetic analysis of a mechanism's
range of movement. Alternatively, the parameters
required to define a certain space configuration
can be determined directly from imposed movement
laws.
With this type of analysis it is possible to
know the kinetic extent of all the rigid bodies
which constitute the mechanism, in function of
the defined body movements from which the entire
kinetic chain depends on.
This analysis could be applied, for example,
to an articulated arm where the position of the
cylinder motors can be controlled, or to an automatic
machine moved by electric motors for which the
rotational velocity is known.
