Non Linear Structural Analysis

Many structural problems are in some way non linear. Each time the loads, the material properties, the contact condition or the variation of structural rigidity of the material changes with the displacements, the problem must be faced with the non linear hypothesis of the phenomenon involved.

It is also possible to consider the action of constant, or variable, loads applied over time, and thus simulate the phenomenon of drift (creep), or the progressive yielding of a structure (buckling).
