Trama e note

 
Thelma Temple è una star del musical: la incontriamo mentre si profonde in effusioni con un pilota aereo; le attenzioni di Thelma lo costringono all'atterraggio. Quando la ragazza scende, i giornalisti la assediano, si scambiano battute sulle magnifiche gambe che mette in mostra, l'interessata risponde con battute salaci, quindi scompare dal film che si premura di ammanirci un romanzo rosa tra il protagonista maschile e Carole Lombard.
La vendetta della
Paramount è sottile, ma visibile: la divina Louise non è nient'altro che l'apripista per la nuova starlet Carole Lombard; il regista e amico Frank Tuttle cercò tuttavia di fare in modo che le scene che la vedevano presente fossero più corpose: non a caso, per giudizio quasi unanime, sono di gran lunga la cosa migliore della pellicola.
